The perfect butter dish for the breakfast, garden or balcony table comes with its own small cooling system. The butter is placed (pressed or brushed) into the lid and the bottom of the tin is filled with a little water. The lid is then nesting inside the tin - the water makes the dish airtight and the butter stays fresh and spreadable longer.

This french butter dish is glazed in our "Coastal" design, on beige speckled clay.
The glazes are applied to the pieces in varying patterns using a time-consuming technique. Just as the sea, the beach and the sky keep changing their colours and course, so does this design on our ceramics :)
Our ceramics are dishwasher safe. However, we generally recommend hand washing for handmade items.
